I'm with Matty.  It's just blah right now.  Boardwalk Empire is far more entertaining and its not even close

if progress you mean sit at the old guys house and talk for two episodes, yes they are progressing nicely.

The zesty part is they have enough material to keep the story going for some time, so I have no idea why they're spinning their wheels. They've drug the Sophia storyline out forever, wrap it up already. Thought the well scene with the zombie was pointless. There should be a good payoff with Herschel's barn, but they need to get to it already.

Munson

I'm thinking it's a possibility that Herschel's keeping the dead girl in the barn...

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Your thinking is wrong

Munson

Well they haven't been going directly from source material, correct? And from what I do know from the source material, isn't it revealed that he's keeping a dead family member or something to that effect chained up somewhere? If that's the case, and they've been only vaguely using the source material, I think it's a possibility.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if Meryl and the girl are tied into each other. Maybe he's found her and is now keeping her somewhere as revenge on the group or something. Who knows. I'm excited for his return/this weeks episode.

stop saying "source material" like it's this holy tome that has some kind of sacred message.. it's a comic.

Munson

comic, graphic novel, whatever you want to call it. Slow thine roll.

MDS

its a zombie show

zombies die, then it ends.

stop taking it seriously.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

General_Failure

Zombies are basically a rural stand-in for crackheads. In a way, this show is exactly like The Wire.

The man. The myth. The legend.

There's a new show that started this week that comes on after Walking Dead called "Hell on Wheels."  Caught the first episode and it seemed pretty good.  It has injuns in it so hopefully it's a show squaw and I can enjoy together.

Anyone else see "Hell on Wheels"?  Read an article in the Denver Post last week when I was travelling ripping it but I heard a Hollywood columnist on the local radio station yesterday saying it was a great show.  The series premiere is on again this weekend.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

I liked it. If you like westerns, chances are you'll like this show. It seems pretty authentic.

Ray Liotta is awesome. Yobogoya!

MDS

he was a little too cartoonish, which is saying something for that show

Pretty sure that's exactly what they wanted from him.
