id violate my sphincter before i watched that show but everywhere ive seen its gotten very good reviews.....so they are doing something right

the reviews were more b/b+ area and thats exactly what the ratings have been so far

its a fairly straightforward procedural drama, but more light-hearted and fun than most. strikes a good balance between entertainment factor and subject matter.

its fine to waste time on but even i can only watch so much TV and lets just say this is beneath me

because its a stupid procedural where you can predict everything that happens and there are no interchangeable differences between each episode.

also im almost completely done with network dramas. its literally impossible for 22-24 episodes done in rapid, get it down quicker rather than better fashion can match 10-13 episodes from a cable drama.

the network model is old and out dated and simply nothing they put out drama wise is worth your time over what you can get on hbo, fx, showtime, amc, etc.

there's hot chicks, crass violence, unbelievable hawaiian scenery, mediocre acting, and laughable (so far) writing.

is it perfect?  no.

is it a pleasant diversion from thoughts of suicide?  well... yeah, it is.

so farg off.

mondays are a terrible night for tv (other than football) so if you need to watch something to avoid slamming the wife or dealing with your kids fine whatever go for it

but in terms of overall weekly tv watching time it should about as far down your list as two and a half men is

My wife watches 5-0. I can't stand it. It's like an 80's throwback, but not in a good way. The writing and the acting are terrible. More than anything, I think that I'm not at all into self-contained hour episodes anymore...they're way too predictable, cliche and boring.

House is likely the single most stupid show ever created. Not just TV, but radio, movies, 3rd grade easter plays, mimes...whatever...pretty much anything ever seen by human eyes.
