Treme was pretty good.

Started slowly and is developing the characters but I was into it. Its weird seeing Freamon and Bunk in those roles.

My thoughts exactly, first episode was a backdrop for the rest of the series. I was surprised it went 90 minutes.

The Pacific was incredible lastnight. Up to this point I thought it was very average, but lastnight they got back to blowing people up and the actual war, not love stories and dudes pissing themselves.

See I think that is why it is so good, they go more into depth and show other factors that are involved in a war.  Blood and guts is fine and all, but there is so much more to it than that.

long story short about conan not going to fox:

not enough affiliates could give him 1100, either by choice or by previous contracts to air sitcoms there. so if he went to fox hed air at a different time in every different market, if at all. tbs is in 95+ million homes and gave him what he wanted $ wise. done deal.

i've seen lopez'zszszszsz show once.  well, part of it actually.  i never really found his stand up to be all that funny and figured his show wouldn't be any better.  i was right.
