That Sparticus show is awful, I don't know what you are watching.  The acting is beyond horrible.  I was really hoping that this was going to be a good show, but it isn't.

I've seen far worse acting than Spartacus. Pretty much pick any network TV show out there.

It isn't on the level of the truly great shows out there, but I consider it one of the better ones. Especially when TV is generally weak in quality right now. HBO literally has next to nothing at the moment.

spartacus is intended for people exactly like you: morons. people who get off on the idiotic, cartoonishly violent action of 300 and will tune in for a couple of nude scenes that pale in comparison to what i can find within 2 clicks on spunkwire.

its awful, idiotic drivel. its the lowest form of entertainment but of course you fit right into that. so by all means, enjoy.

hbo will never, ever recapture what they had in the early 00s but they still got good stuff. in fact i could list of 50 shows right now that are better than spartacus.

just admit you watch it for the violence and nudity and be done with it.

Look at you getting offended over what other people watch. I've actually stated on here that I disliked the movie 300, so violence has nothing to do with it. It's just an entertaining show. You think you are some authority on TV, like your opinion actually matters more than the average person. I'm also guessing you haven't seen all 4 of the episodes either.

But the funny part is you watch Lost and think it is some deep and profound show. It makes you feel smart, much like criticizing other people's interests in TV shows does.

But I will admit that seeing Lucy Lawless topless multiple times doesn't hurt. But overall it is just an entertaining show.

on what planet is lost a profound show. when have i ever even hinted at that. its entertaining. its not the same category as many others but it might just lead the league in "most fun."

the problem here is this spartacus thing is entertaining for idiots and teenage boys. lost is entertaining for normal people and a handful of geeks.

You think you know more. Then again, you think a lot of things, most of them are wrong. You also think we have a completely different taste in TV shows, when I can tell you that by judging from your posts, I pretty much like 9/10 shows that you like.

Spartacus does have elements that your superficial teenager might like, but it also has elements from Gladiator as well. Granted, not as well done, but entertaining enough. They even get into the politics of living into that time period a little bit.

hey Todd, I finally started watching The Office.  Did a quick review of this season's shows a couple of weeks ago then went back and watched season 1 and the first part of 2 last night.  After watching the pilot again I remembered why I never picked up on it right away.  Carell's character was brutal but became less obnoxious once the supporting cast was established...
