yes, it used to be an entertaining emptiness, but that's not even there now.  an entire season focusing on the secondary characters just shows they have no other ideas and this will probably be the last season.

The point I'm trying to make here is that you are all knowingly watching terrible television and bitching about it being terrible.

Light yourselves on fire. Failing that, throw your cable boxes out the window.

It's a male soap opera. I'm not looking for an engaging story or plot twists, but it's a perfect show to watch on a Sunday night. It's mindless entertainment.

no, its amc. though it feels like an hbo minus the nudity and cursing.

heres a reason youll never watch it: the star of the show, jon hamm, was on simmons podcast and said hes seen both the wire and the sopranos and thinks the sopranos is better. of course he might be saying this because the creator of mad men wrote for the sopranos, but never the less its grounds for banishment.
