My show seems to have been granted a stay of execution for another week.  Next Wed is the series finale.  Good thing too, because had it ended last night I wouldn't have gotten any closure.

without getting into too much tv nerdiness, the show probably works best as a limited-run series. basically the original premise is the real mystery and if it would have lasted numerous season. the far superior british versions lasted like 12 episodes. so basically mimicking that would be the best way to go.

of course its getting canned for bad ratings, since american television will run any idea into the ground until its dead.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Deadwood should have been rated much hire.

Top 3 should have been:
Lost
Sopranos
Deadwood
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

yeah, i wasn't expecting it to be a long running series.  but i was hoping for maybe 3 solid seasons or so.  1 season doesn't really give the audience (aka me) much time to try and put together clues and info to try and figure out what happened, blah blah blah.

Oh well, I enjoyed it and hate seeing it go.  But at least I can start going to bed at 10pm on Wednesdays again.

I've been pimping Life On Mars to these cretins all year long, Sassy.

I think it's a fantastic show but like Todd said the ratings have been abysmal so it gets the axe.  farg America.

General_Failure

I liked the British version of Life On Mars, especially all the punching, but never got around to seeing the American version.

well at least i'm not the only one.  maybe when the finale comes on i should turn on all the tvs in my house and tune them into abc to help give it a ratings boost.

Wire, schmire. I haven't watched it yet but will eventually as it's on my netflix queue. If it's as good as or better than the Shield, then I'll be pleasantly suprised.
