thought TWD was better this season than last but its kind of meh at this point. hopefully FTWD brings it this season or im out.

I plan on watching Fear - because what else am I gonna do on Sun night? - but the cast through the first season was largely unlikable and kind of boring.  I was really disappointed with how quickly they rushed through the actual collapse of civilization.  The entire point of the show was to kind of fill in the blank during that 3-4 week period that Rick was unconscious, but they didn't really do that with much detail.  They told the story from the wrong angle, imo. Rather than watching some random group of people, I think it would have been really cool to tell the story from some sort of government/authority perspective.  Missed opportunity.

agree with much of this. I wasn't bothered by the random group of people, but yeah, I wanted to see more of how civilization went to shtein.

I'll watch FTWD, it has zombies and the world going to shtein so that's always interesting. Instead of showing the beginning of the outbreak - which they did poorly - I wish they would have just focused on another group of survivors.

the pilot was really good and for a while just having some zombie violence on a sunday night wasnt the worst thing....6 years later here we are

i rolled through the last 5-6 episode. still terrible.

i'd be fine if he smashes all of their brains in with the baseball bat.  although i'd give mad props to them if he kills the pregnant woman. that would be pretty dark.

are there people who actually think it's a good show still? i imagine most people are just hate watching it like me.

I still love it, but I love it for what it is....an outlandish show about the end of civilization.  It would really have to go off the rails for me to stop watching.
