Susquehanna Birder

Anybody else watch? I thought the first episode was a little slow, but maybe I just need to get my brain back into the mode of comprehending the language on there. It does look like the shtein is gonna be hitting the fan real soon. Maybe.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I pretty much liked it, even though it was a slow episode.  It was definately a "set-up" episode for all the crap that's about to come down.

- Big battle between Al and Hearst.  Who is going to run the town?
- Bullock is going to lose it big time (more than he did on ol' Pulpy-Face" E.B.)
- I like that Calamity Jane was in full drunk-on character again, and whatever is going on between her and Charlie
- Joanie is confused.  She needs to run her own whores, and stop caring for Cy just so he can eff her over down the road.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Looks like Joanie is ready to eff herself over anyway.

I loved Jane's line toward the end. Something to the effect of "Every day you've gotta learn all over again how to farging live."
