Did anyone read the note below about that helmet?

*1 These were two of at least three different helmet designs used simultaneously by FSU in 1962; the third design featured a skinny "arrow" positioned more or less like the spear on the current helmet. While the scheme in place with regards to the use of these three designs is unknown, site visitor Dan C. has suggested that perhaps the "indian head" design was worn by seniors, the "tomahawk" by juniors, and the "arrow" by sophomores. I would appreciate hearing from anybody who might have additional information about these. Below is a photograph of the "indian head" helmet, which I thought might have generated some skepticism:

I think they let Encino Man design that.

1. I never knew the Jets had an actual jet logo at one point.

2. I forgot how ugly the original Ravens logo was.

3. I'm still pissed at the retirement of cheesy looking characters like Bucco Bruce and Pat Patriot hiking the ball. They were great to goof on, especially as both of those teams almost always sucked back in those days.
