Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the Philadelphia Eagles will hold a rookie camp starting Thursday, May 25. All rookies will attend today except LB Chris Gocong. The third-round draft pick has yet to complete classes at Cal Poly, where he is a general engineering major, and will not rejoin the team until June 7, when the Eagles will be in the midst of their second full-squad minicamp. The rookie camp is today and tomorrow and then again Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, June 2.

He played outside linebacker for his entire college career at Tennessee, "I guess I'm considered a smaller guy," said Gaither, who played strongside linebacker for Tennessee but was projected as a weakside linebacker in the NFL. "I'll see people on the street and they'll ask me if I'm a DB (defensive back) or a wide receiver, and I'm like, wow." The Eagles think Gaither not only is big enough to make the move inside, but also smart enough. The Eagles are holding their second minicamp for rookies and selected veterans this week. They will have a "voluntary" full-squad camp next week, then break until training camp. Gaither hopes to have a pretty good understanding of the MIKE position in defensive coordinator Jim Johnson's defense by the time he heads back home later this month.

They're moving Justice from RT to LT. They're moving Gocong from DE to LB. They're moving Gaither from OLB to MLB. They're moving Ramsey from DT to DE. They're moving Jason Short from LB to DE.

I'm sure all these guys will be Pro Bowlers this year.
