Fair Enough. I agree he's underwhelmed. I do think HOWARD - BUNKLEY - PATTERSON - KEARSE should = 30 Sacks alone this season. Can we at least agree on that?   :sly

If they're moving him around our of necessity, that's a problem.  If they're moving him around occasionally to catch a defense off-guard, no big deal.  Like IGY said, though, Kearse needs to be able to get pressure off the edge regularly, and he really hasn't been doing that enough.  I think he's been an OK all around defensive player, but he hasn't been the difference-maker he's being paid to be.

30 sacks?  Are you crazy?  It's obvoius to everyone that this is a 29 sack D Line.

Kearse runs off the field just about every other friggin play holding either his hip, arm, wrist, shoulder. Hes not getting any younger and his kamakazzi days of throwing himself airborn and seeing where he lands should be at a minimum. He needs to stay on the wing, and pass rush the QB. I agree with FF, that it is deceiving to an offense once in a while, but once he plays joker boy and goes inside or outside too much, thats when more injuries will occur

His goal this year should be end on end QB sacks, and I think the weight decrease will allow him that first initial push past the OL. Its a good move IMO

Hugh was the king of faking injury and running off the field to take a break.

So was Clyde Simmons back in the day. He'd be writhing around in pain on the turf and take a full TV timeout to get off the field, then be back in after sitting out one play. Every week, like clockwork.  :-D
