Sgt PSN

Bartender may be my favorite live performance song of all time.  Both times I've seen them play that song it seems to really turn the place out.  Them and Godsmack put on 2 of the best live performances I've ever seen.

They played some stuff off their newest album too (Back 2 Base X) that I hadn't heard before.  Actually, I hadn't heard anything off of that album.  I suck.

But yeah, the show was awesome.

Dillen

I didnt even know they made a new CD after Only In Amerika until about a month ago, I dont where I heard about it though. I havent heard anything off it.

I havent heard them but i havent heard anything good about them at all.  What i've heard is to stay away because it will do nothing but disappoint you.

Speaking of side projects, Nick Cave has one called Grinderman which is damn good

Ted Nugent is playing a small club in St. Louis on June 7th.  Trouble is, me and Phanatic will be at the NC beach with our families, and have to miss the show.  Which sucks major ass.

Uncle Ted thinks you suck.  So the world is fair.

Clutch did kick ass. I was worried that perhaps 26 was too late in life to see my first concert, as the first band was too loud and sucked badly. The second band also sucked, but not nearly as much. Clutch apparently had people to tune their instruments and do sound checks, as they sounded just fine.

I have to wonder when it became appropriate to wear the shirt of the band you're going to see. Just in the line outside there were a dozen Clutch shirts that I could see, and more than a handful inside where there were a couple hundred people.

The best picture my camera phone took.

Saw Tool last night in Jacksonville.  Good show.  The band was excellent.

One thing, though... does Maynard James Keenan always sing with his back facing the audience?  At first I thought it was amusing and kinda cool but as the show progressed it become increasingly distracting to watch.

Also - I took several photos with my useless cell phone but only a couple of them turned out.  Sorry for the lousy quality...

yea he's always had a strange stage positions. earlier in his career he was more up front, but as years went on he became less noticeable. lateralus tour you just saw his outline against a screen filled with graphics. ive seen them twice since 10k days has been released and its pretty much the same.

i don't know why that would bother you. i mean its about the music and the visuals and how they mix. who gives a farg where the singer is?

do you remember the set list at all? im seeing them twice nxt weekend. and then again in july. can't wait!
