I guess that depends on whether or not you think the 2006 Eagles are really any better than the record of the 2005 Eagles.  Personally, I think both the players and the fans think this team should be an improvement.

Rome

I also think using terms like "trap game" is retarded.

However, week 1 against Houston is definitely a trap game, so ha!

ice grillin you

basically if you are playing a team you should beat its a 'trap' game....the whole notion is just nonsense

i mean do people have stats on trap games...what % of the time do teams get 'trapped'

what if you win a trap game game was it still a trap...did the trap not go off properly?

what if in the week prior to a trap game the coach tells the team at practice 'boys what we have here is a trap game be careful'...wouldnt it then cease to become a trap game since by definition a trap is something you dont see coming

ff sees the houston trap on april 7....can the eagles be so dumb so to not see on sept 10

trap this
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

What I really need is someone to give me a game-by-game breakdown of how in the hell the Eagles are to do any better than 10-6 this year.  I just can't find any more than 10 wins on this schedule.

normal human being/fan: "if the eagles lose to the texans its because they suck not because they were trapped"

geeked out super scout fan: "trap game?...hmmmmm maybe...in reality tho i cant see a 6-10 team getting trapped"

normal human being: I just bought a kickass jersey. Check it out.
geeked out super wigger: I just copped this butter joint.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I dont know how much this scheduling is going to affect the Eagles draft and stance on getting a WR but it should. Mediocracy at the skill positions will not win them those last 8 games. There's no way they were expecting a schedule like that, especially at the end of the season.

So lets go FO....pull a 4-leaf clover from your ass and get somebody. Surprise me--did McPhearson say something?

i'm not reading this entire thread but i think they originally had the cowboys game on christmas scheduled in philly...then decided to swap them out because they didn't want eagles' fans throwing snowballs at TO on christmas.
that's how they wound up with 3 roadies in a row.

and dats da real butta johnson, ya heard.

To win those last 8 games, they're going to need to keep the score low.  They need D (front seven) help way more then wideout help.  Besides, any WR they bring in from this draft won't help much this season.
Anyone but Reid.

whats the theory on how they ended up with three in a row at home...around a bye week nonetheless

Yeah, but I dont want draft...I want established (u know who) Your right though, nothing better than a front 7 push thats gonna give us good field position. If we get that, we might be able to escape with the garden-variety receivers

What's funny is you're right, but in a completely opposite kind of way.

The LINES are what will really have to be stellar and hold up to pull off any kind of magic in that stretch.
