MDS

Crazy game. Dodgers hit 4 solo homers in the 9th to tie it, then after a SD run in the 10th, Nomah hits a 2r walk off. Dodgers win. 1.5 behind SD now. Yikes.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The BIGSTUD

Are you farging kidding me? Dodgers hit 4 straight solo HRs to tie being down 9-5, and then the Padres take a 10-9 lead in the top 10th, then Nomar hits a walkloff 2 shot.

WTF
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Even if Rowand does come back, I'd like to see Victorino in center.  I like the way he plays CF.

Utley is now under .300, good time for him to continue sucking balls

He will bounce back.  I just don't know if it will be in time for the Phils push to the playoffs.

MDS

I'm excited for Utley's 2007. Really. Woooo. He's bouncin back.

THe Utley hate? Can it. Seriously.

The team wouldn't even be where they are without what he did all season.
"Oh, yeah. They'll still boo. They have to. They're born to boo. Just now, they'll only boo with two Os instead of like four." - Larry Andersen

MDS

He's sucked since mid-august. A slump is a slump, but this has gone on too long and comes at the worst time. He's the 3 hitter and best player, when hes not producing for an extended period of time, he deserves criticism. Just like Abreu got. Just like Burrell is getting.

Wingspan

this is also the 2nd slump in 2 years that he's run into during the last 5 or so weeks of each of his 2 full seasons.

so while i am not hating the guy (far from it). the criticism is completely valid.

No one on this team aside from Howard is above criticism. (I'm a big Victorino fan so he makes MY zero criticism list too)

Offensively, yes.....it's quite hard to criticize Howard.

Defensively, he's near/at the top of the list.  He's just not very consistant in the field.

ice grillin you

definitely sgt...they are gonna have a hard time ever winning with that right side in that park

id also put hamels on the cant criticize list

Hamels gets a free pass because he's a rook.  He's lights out one start and then he's shyte the next.  Part of the growing process.  The big thing with him is that he's improved as the year's gone on and if I'm not mistaken, hasn't really had 2 bad outtings in a row.  Wish I could say the same for the rest of the starting rotation.  :-\

MDS

Bases loaded, 2 outs, 3-2 to Burrell and he looks at a breaking ball right down the middle. What a zesty loser. Why is he still starting?

burrell has no hitting instincts.  he guesses each and every pitch, and if he's wrong, he has no ability to improvise his swing and at least try to foul the ball off.  the only problem with that is, when he guesses right he usually misses the pitch or fouls it off.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
