I think that lefty was going to come out anyhow. He was bad. But Dellucci has been crap lately. So I liked seeing Conine there.

And then Burrell does what he does best - not get a hit with RISP.

If Ryan Howard isn't killing HRs this team has no offense.

Dellucci seems like hes busted out of his slump. Just seems stupid to PH for a competent hitter in the top of the 5th inning.

They've actually left over 100 runners in scoring position, 75 of them on 3rd with less than 2 outs.

Nice job tonight. Totally farging excellent.

I don't know whether to cheer Rhodes' injury or not. That could help rather than hurt since he's been zesty.

SD loses and the Phils shtein the bed. Nice.

Phils lose, Texas losing and Penn State lost.

Not a good start to the weekend.

it wouldn't have come into play if Burrell's ass would've been on the bench like it should've been from the start of the game

Expect him back out there tommorrow with Willis going, but at this point, I doubt he plays against RHP. Dellucci 5 and Conine 6 is much better.

Rhodes is going back to Philly for tests, and Manuel said that it doesn't look good.  :yay

That's great news, maybe Manuel can convince Burrell to join him.

I like Matt Smith to jump into Rhodes role as the setup guy.
