False hope of making the playoffs = derail long range plans.

Moyer is older than dirt.  He was still a pretty strong pitcher just a couple years ago but he's not doing much at all this year.  Not sure what this move is all about.  Are the Phils making this move in preperation for a playoff run?  I hope they don't think a 43 year old pitcher is the answer.
