It was a tough series. Everything went right during the Reds series and everything went wrong here. I remember saying those wins over the Reds would evenutally even up. Hey, look, they just did.

What really needs to happen is the offense needs to pick it up. Gotta hit around Matt Clement tommorrow, and then Beckett saturday. Remember Beckett and Howard got a lil thing going in spring training, maybe we'll see a brawl. Howard will kill him. Beckett was always a piece of shtein, he could use the ass kicking.

Mets play the Yankees, Braves (yea, theyre back) get Toronto (by default). 2/3 would be nice, Sox are pretty good. Theyre irratating fans will be all over the place this weekend, anyones who is going should recieve a free pass to literally kill them. I honestly hate Boston fans more than New York. They are the absolute worst.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Oooh...I forgot all about Howard almost killing that bitch Beckett. I am hoping that Ryan kills a HR off of him and then admires it a little bit. Let's get something going.

And maybe someone will do to Tito what Pedro did to Zimmer. :-D

And the win against the Muts was given and taken away by the baseball gods. Tuesday's game where Franklin threw it away even that one up.

They lost all games by 1 run.

But the dopes who overreact are saying its over and they will go into a slide and that Hamels, Floyd and everyone not named Howard and Utley should be traded for the stud starting pitcher who isn't even on the market.

No, I'm not kidding either.

MDS

Jeez....it's a long season. There is still 4 full months left, not to mention the rest of May. Get a grip.

Oh, it's on for thursday in NY. I was thinking about wendesday with Cole, but we decided against the night game (could spent the night in the city instead), and I pretty much refused considering its the 2 HOUR LOST FINALE. bwahaha.

Here's an idea, genius...

Go to NY for the day AND night game and TAPE the Lost finale.

MDS

I've got nowhere to stay, kid.

And I dont trust the tape. If I dont watch it at 9, I will surely find out what happens. My fellow Lost fans will vouch for this sudden venture into the land of dorkiness.

Hotel. NY has a ton of them. Just find a shteinhole like Tom Hanks did in Big.

And stop being a Vadgey McVadge. I can't watch the Sopranos on Sundays anymore and I still survive. If anyone starts talking about it before I see it on Tuesday or Wednesday, I punch them.

As for the people overreacting..its funny to read. But also makes me want to rip my monitor off the desk, stomp on it, urinate on the smoking screen and throw it out of the window.

MDS

Pay for my hotel, Billy Bob.

tonight...i had a guy on 3rd with one out and down by a run, and i struck out looking on a pitch i thought was low and outside...

suddenly, that Bobby Abreu seems like a pretty good guy

my team last week played, we loaded the bases with no outs. mind you this is medium pitch softball...coming up to the plate, i was 3-3, so i hit into a double play...and we didnt score a run.

Myers has turned into what we all hoped he would

what?

after all the coddling, and waiting...so all we ever hoped from myers was for him to turn out to be an overemotional pitcher who has consistancy problems?

He wasn't exactly coddled. He was brought up pretty quickly. He was 21 when he made his debut in 2001. And he has had 3 straight seasons of double digit wins.

So what if he is overemotional? He's young! And he's getting better at controlling himself.

And where are these consistency problems you speak of?

Please.

that over 4 era is all we have ever hoped for?...have you forgotten last september, when he went 0-2 with nearly a 5 era?

he's 26 now and no better than he was as a rookie...this isnt all i have hoped for with myers.

you all suck. i was up 3-2 on the rockies in the 13th (abreu hr off mesa), 2 outs. madson was into close (long game, used gordon and rhodes already). i gave up a double, single, single. 3-3. struck the next guy out. no runs in the top of the 14th. bottom of the inning, leadoff single. i pull madson for julio santana, yea. next pitch the guy doubles. 2nd and 3rd now. next batter loops a single to right. game over.

boooooooooooooooooooooooooo to me.

IGY, you were talking about AlpineEagle earlier (the PBP guy). He has a prety serious health issue...

?

btw abreu should get murdered for that last strike out...not because of his bogus unclutch label but because how do you end a game taking a pitch on 3-2....just cant happen...if nothing else you stick your bat out and poke it foul if youre not sure
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

wow, that's worse than mine, ha.  what's medium pitch?  i've never heard of it.  i play fast pitch and i know of slow pitch, but never heard of medium.

Fast pitch is too competitive.  I like a game where I can casually sip a beer in the outfield if I so choose.

you work at home, you can drink beer anytime you want...you can't take 2 hours to play a sport and not drink beer?
