im talking about the team that sits in the locker room right now....not the phillies franchise for the last 130 years...they dont have anyone on this team who is accountable for anything...and im not saying they arent playing to win...i also believe they want to win...but i also believe that they dont care if they lose...and thats not good

montgomery is part owner...so yes, he counts.

i dont give a shtein if they are top 5 or not. its was spent on 2 outside players in Wagner and Thome, and in the end they got shtein from wagner. other than that, they are top five because of the retarded contracts that burrell, bell, leiberthal and abreu got...and only abreu is deserving of the salary he got.

the ownership doesnt care. thome was only signed to generate revenue to build the phils overpriced pleasure palace.

they lower payroll, and raise ticket prices this past offseason. and they havent won a damn thing in 26 years.

other than 2nd rate jon leiber...there has been NO attempt to aquire good starting pitching...non at all...its the ryan franklins, arthor rhodes and cory lidles...

the ownership sucks....2 decades of incompetence is all you need to look at.

i'm not complaining about the spending. i'm complaining that they are dumb fargs that are 100% about the money.

i would like to know if they are such big spenders...why NO starting pitcher was aquired this offseason, after they gave away padilla, and the starters were a weakness. and dont give me this franklin bull either...there was no intention of starting him, they've invested so much time into floyd he had to start, and for some reason they promised madsen.

I was at a bar last night watching the Yankees/Red Sox game with my buddies and some dude asked me why we got rid of Crazy Vicente.  I honestly couldn't come up with a decent reason.

I figured Madson & Floyd would have to be better than him, and so far, I've been pretty wrong about that.
