Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Rome

12-0 Phillies.

Rollins just hit a bomb to left-center.

:-D

Jimmy Rollins hits a 3R HR.

12-0 now

Rollins' HR is his 18th, a Phillies record for a SS.

Like I said - he doesn't need to be a leadoff guy. Put him lower in the order. even John Kruk said today on DNL that if he hist lower he'd be a solid RBI guy.

Rome

13-0.  Victorino smokes one to left.

:-D :-D

When Shane Victorino homers, the opposing team should all stangle themselves.

Rome

When Victorino, Rollins & Nunez have a combined eight runs batted in after five innings played, we should start gazing skyward for signs of the impending apocalypse.

PhillyPhreak54

Hamels at 64 pitches through 6 IP. 0 walks and only 3 hits.

Sounds like a good time to get the pen some work.

He's still in. But I think I heard the PC wrong. I think it was 84 at that point.

Its the 8th now and he's still snapping off beautiful curves and changes.

NGM

Hamels just completed the 8th.  He has 9 K's at this point and only 4 hits.
Fletch:  Can I borrow your towel for a sec? My car just hit a water buffalo.

Rome

113 pitches, 85 strikes.

Unfriggen real.

He made the Mets look ridiculous out there.  What's weird is, he got most of the nine strikeouts (5) in the last two innings.  Just a dominating performance.

SD_Eagle5

13-0 final. Hamels with 9Ks and 0 walks.

My favorite Phillie when I was a kid was Jerry Martin.  Why, you ask?

Well, my number in little league and then Babe Ruth was #25 just like Jerry Martin.

Jerry Martin?  Dang, you're old, gram'pa.

Other than Schmitty, mine was probably Bob Boone.  Us catchers have to stick together.   ;D

Rome

#4109
In Hamels' past three starts, he's pitched as follows:

21 Innings Pitched

12 Hits Allowed

2 Earned Runs Allowed

27 K's

3 BB's

He's thrown 302 pitches and 203 of them for strikes.

He's also seen his ERA drop from 5.71 on July 29th to 4.5 after tonight.

That's sick, fellas.
