An e-mail annoyance...

Why do people put "please feel free to contact me with any questions"?

I mean...no shtein I am going to contact you about any questions pertaining to the e-mail you sent me.

i write it in every single email i send. 

for me its a nice way to finish up the email.  and it's basically saying "if i don't hear from you, i assume you understand what i am saying what actions you need to take"


feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

I write something similar but not the feel free part because its assumed that if the person with whom I am talking will contact me if they have any issues or questions.

I go with the thank you for the order or something along those lines.

i also use "thanks in advance." because you will do that shtein.
