This morning around 5am a house across the street caught fire. Nobody was home except a pitbull, who died. I don't know the people who lived there, but I'm really close to the people who live right next door. She said she woke up because her room was really hot and bright as hell, looked out the window and saw the house up in flames. A bunch of firetrucks and cops came, surprised I didn't wake up. When I left this morning I saw the residents taking out everything that wasn't lost in the fire, really really sad. Entire street was blocked off and still smelled burnt when I got back home, and by that time they had torn the entire thing down. Don't know the cause of it yet. Really, really sad. Seeing them take out anything they could salvage was one of the worst things I've ever seen.
