That's probably because its a snapping turtle, and they're not exactly known for their manners.  Should have made him into soup.

Yeah I used a towel so his claws couldn't get me while I had him. I just didn't want him to get stranded along the driving range net and end up dying, so I got him back into the pond on hole 1.

He was snapping pretty much the entire time.
