Do people get this excited when they see a car on a wrecker?  Because that's basically what's happening here.  I'd get it if the shuttle itself were flying but people are making a big stink about a flying tow truck.  Moving on.

SunMo

yes, a space shuttle on the back of a 747 is same as your standard car on a flat bed.

...and a space shuttle on a plane doing a flyover a city is so farging common. I mean, it happens every day right?

nope they have had i think a pair of them since day one...they used to be used mostly if they had to land at edwards in cali because the weather in florida was bad and they couldnt land there...so theyd land in cali and then fly them to florida on the 747

Rome

You've never seen it but are completely qualified to comment.

This is a shot of the last shuttle launch from the last bridge before you hit Cape Canaveral.  It was awesome just like the 90 others I've seen live.

That is the most beautiful line of smoke I've ever seen. I'm moving to Florida.

General_Failure

I like how they got all the clouds lined up to one side so they wouldn't get in the way.
