i actually see no problem at all with doing it even if you arent enlisted...as long as you did serve...its not like he was never in and was playing soldier

Apply this same concept to police officers and tell me if you still agree.  In other words, should former cops be allowed to wear their uniforms in public and pose as police officers?  In short, no.

QuoteLOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - An alleged photo of Congressman Anthony Weiner's genitals hit the Internet on Wednesday

Not good if true for the congressman. When weiners hit the internets it usually leads to the same outcome.

It's been about 4 years so the guy very well could have made the appropriate changes in his life, in which case my commentary could prevent him from getting the job.

It hasn't changed enough for him to know you might give him a terrible reference.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Jesus christ. Pretty sure your opinion on the matter means less than nothing. I'll trust the three former military guys in their judgements on the case.

it has nothing to do with being in the military or not...you either agree with it or you dont...i dont have any problem with a guy who served the country wearing his uniform in court to get some sympathy votes...i also have no problem with the judge or jury completely ignoring it

now if he gave testimony and lied about what he did while he was in the military or said he was currently in the military or wore the uniform when he was never in the military then he should be castigated...otherwise more power to him

1.  When wearing any uniform in public, it's implied that you are currently serving that entity....be it police, military, post office, etc. So even without verbally saying so, you are still making a statement.

2.  Uniforms are typically issued initially and then it's up to the individual to replace worn out items on their own. In either case, the uniforms can be taken away from you because even though you purchased them, they are still not your property. In this case, they belong to the gov't. Normally the command would do a uniform inventory with him prior to kicking him out and would keep the uniforms. Not sure if it happened or not because I wasn't there as I had already been transferred.

3. He did testify on the stand that he was currently serving among other things.

oh if he committed perjury then obviously thats a different story...i didnt realize he did that

PG dropping some bombs today.  Those are all great.  The theater texter was the shtein though.  I like that they use the voice mail before movies now.  So awesome.

the voice mail had me in hysterics...but only because of the text on the screen ripping her misuse of the English language. Classic.

Yeah, that's classic.  My sister lives in Austin so the next time I visit her, I'm going to go check out that theater.  The fact that they put it on You Tube is going to at least quadruple their business for the next few weeks.  Smart play on their part.
