My aim is to never buy a new car ever again.  I'm hoping for either zombies or a gigantic meteor impact at this point.

i doubt i'll ever buy a brand new car/truck ever again.  the only time i did was when i bought my 4runner back in 98.  i got a decent deal on it but i was 21 and stupid and wanted a new vehicle for the sake of having a new vehicle.  then when i bought my mustang i looked primarily at ones that were 1yr old and was able to find about 10 total that had less than 3k miles on them.  then i just started eliminating the ones that didn't have the things i was looking for......color, leather interior, etc.  the one i ended up buying had 1300 miles on it, one owner no damage or defects of any kind.  paid $24k for it and blue book value of it was around $28k.  the same exact car brand new was selling for about $31k.  i put $6 down and i could have immediately wrapped it around a tree and i would have actually made 10 grand.

if you're patient and not in a complete rush to purchase a vehicle (which phreak probably is feeling pressed for time) you can always find a used car that's less than a year old with extremely low mileage on it.  there's always some idiot out there who buys a car they can't really afford and ends up taking it back or having it repo'd.  or they buy it and 6 months later don't like it for whatever reason and want to get something different.  those are the deals i try and look for.  you're basically getting a new car at a used car price. 

when i get back from deployment next year i'll probably be looking to replace my 4runner.  probably with truck so i've been browsing the lots lately looking at the new models right now since they'll most likely be my target next year.  i'm loving me some dodge ram laramie.

I just bought a replacement GPS...BestBuy.com has some pretty good deals going on for a Fathers Day Sale (good through tonight) and I got a Garmin 255W.

I had the 260, but since some cockbite is using it now and I no longer have it, I needed a new one.

Speaking of my truck...it has been a week and there is no word from the Police. I went dealer hopping on Saturday to kind of gauge the market and I'm pretty confident that I can find a pretty good deal.

My old truck was a 2005 F-150 Lariat with 55K miles.--I told the salesman that I wanted a 2007-2008 Lariat or 2008 FX4 with 25K or less miles in either midnight blue or black with black leather and want to be driving away with zero down and under 25K.

They had a white 2008 Lariat with 24K on it and were asking 26K, so I am sure I can find a good deal. Now, I just hope everything goes smooth with the insurance company. I loved my truck and am pissed off like hell thinking about some punk ass out there driving around in it. Motherfarger.

I submitted the auto theft affidavit today along with my itemized list of things stolen for my renters insurance. The total value of things jacked was around 2700, so with depreciation factored in minus deductible I hope to recover about 1200.

I read that in May 2009 in Houston there was 162 Ford trucks stolen.

this is the year to buy a car...i dont know all the write offs but if you buy a NEW car this year you can write off the sales tax and some other things...not exactly sure what they are but look into

My problem is I do not like the 2009 F-150's. And that is what I want to buy...they have great rebates going on plus with the write-off's, but I don't like the new tail lights or the new grilles.

I found an '08 f-150 Harley Davidson truck in San Antonio...I'm gonna check it out this weekend.

At 2 a.m. last night I got woke up by a couple screaming at each other on the street outside my bedroom window.  GET IN THE CAR the man is shouting, farg YOU I AIN'T she's screaming back, etc.  So since I'm up, I get dressed, grab my phone and cigarettes, and my baseball bat, and go downstairs.  Leave the bat just inside the door in case and step out for the show.  There are six or seven cop cars and two or three civilian cars jamming up the street.  The fargers who woke me argue and scream and make threatening moves for ten minutes or so a the cops try to calm them down.  The woman is screaming about hating white people, how she's going to make shtein up to get the badges off the white cops (nevermind that some of the cops are black), etc.  She's hollaring about how she's an educated black woman and can't be told what to do--i.e., "get in the car or they gonna lock you up," by her husband.  Etc.

For a while she berates me as a white motherfarger who should go back inside and mind his own business, etc.  I didn't respond, just stared her down.  Nothing you can say to someone like that.  I wasn't looking to make matters worse afterall.  So after a half hour or so she gets in someone else's car and leaves.  It was her brother who was being arrested, in the third car.  I heard her husband explain that the cops had a warrant for him, plus he was driving without a license, etc. 

Cops handled themselves professionally.  They could have been much more confrontational and hauled her off, but that would have been a bit much.  Instead they kept a reasonable distance and talked in normal, calm language to her and the husband.  I was glad to see that.  Half the reason I go out on the porch for shtein like this is to watch them in case they do stupid shtein, as we all know they often do. 

My wife weren't happy about being woken up by a raving mad racist bitch.  "I HATE WHITE PEOPLE"  Ha.
