I got around to photographing some of my grandfathers relics from WWII, he fought for the 106th Golden Lions in the Battle of the Bulge, they were destroyed by the Germans after only being in country 4 days.  Anyway, i'm trying to figure out what type of deaths head this is,

Anyone here familiar with the one on the left?  The one on the right is your standard Wehrmacht soldier belt buckle.

From what I can see, the one on the right is a belt buckle for the Wehrmacht, or the German armed forces.  The phrase Gott Mit Uns means "God With Us."

Not sure about the one on the left.  It seems to be perhaps an insignia rather than a medal.

lol Geo.  My grandfather left my brother a dagger he found over there too, but its not inscribed with anything, just a standard dagger.

No, they were self-righteous Christian zealots, akin to the Muslim extremists who flew planes into our buildings.

I don't know why but I laughed like hell at that.

My Grandfather received the purple heart in WW2, he brought back a German Luger which my Aunt still has. She was offered 20 Gs for it a few years ago but turned it down.

My grandfather received three purple hearts.  My late cousin got one (I assume his son now has it), I received one and one is somewhere else.

I also got some kind of trench knife with brass kunckles.  It's dated 1918.  Don't think it's worth much, but it's a cool thing to have.
