i didnt read the article so i dont know the context of the character but i think the point is that its hard enough for minorities to break into hollywood without white people taking their roles

now if the movie is in the vein of a soul man i dont think anyone would have a problem...ie a white guy pretending hes a black guy

They play over the top actors thrust into a real warzone but think they're still doing the movie so it actually fits into the context of the story.... Either way it looks like a zesty movie that will get a lot more attention then it should have.
