Which one is President of Black people? Jesse or Al?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

It's only offensive if you're a white man making fun of minorities.

If it's the reverse, it's money in the bank.  See Carlos Mencia, Chris Rock, etc...

i hope we can all come to an agreement in todays day and age that we can forgive and forget. comments like yours though sir need to be left to yourself.

Yeah, the truth can be an annoyance, can't it?

imus' main problem and it always has been is having bernie on his show...he is an up front blatant admitted racist and i could never understand why imus continued to have him on the show...i stopped listening like 15 years ago because of him...i guess he finally got dragged into the gutter by him

The thing that pisses me off about this is that he's a private citizen.  He's not a government official.  He said some racist shtein, and he's got a tendency to do that--check out his history on subjects like this, but it's not like he's a District Court Judge actually infringing upon someone's rights.  He's not a cop.  He's not making a housing policy that says Nappy Headed Hos can't rent from me.  If we were talking about some kind of official, or policy making person, or if he were saying these things to his employees, I'd be pretty pissed too.

But we're not.  This has nothing to do with institutionalized racism, which is the real farging problem.

This amounts to "Ooooh, look at the shiny news thing!!  Oh! my! what's going to happen next in The News?"  Meanwhile, ad rates and speaking fees aren't going down for anyone involved.

.Dio, that's why the suspension starts on Monday. 4 more days of people tuning in. A win for Viacom and Universal. Hooray

Howard hates Imus. It's a shame his show is on stupid satellite, I'm sure he's doing some funny bits about him.

Dio hit the nail on the head when he mentioned ad rates.  Imus brings in millions for CBS Radio & MSNBC.  A suspension amounts to nothing more than a vacation to Imus.  When he returns his ratings will be huge and huge ratings = increased ad revenues.

As far as Sharpton is concerned, his hypocrisy knows no bounds.  He has no problem advocating Imus's dismissal from the radio, yet he also has no problem having him as his guest on the radio.

What a slimy piece of shtein that farghead is.

I cant stand Jesse or Rev Al, both blobbering idiots.  All they want to do is be seen.  Farg them and their nappy heads

That's not a nice way to talk about the Presidents of the Black people.

I think people take the Jesse and Al hatred a little too far.  Save some of the hate for Sam Brownback and  James Dobson.

Dobson is slime too.  I can't believe he hasn't been embroiled in a tawdry sex scandal yet.  You know that's coming sooner or later.

Brownback is a freak too, don't forget that.

Any politician who advocates the blurring of the line between church and state automatically gets my seal of disapproval.

Brownback is a serious religious fanatic but then again so is Bush.  Most of the GOP conservatives are religious freaks (or openly pander to them as in McCain's case) and I think 8 years of having one of those boneheads in office is more than enough.

I disagree with your original comments Rome.  I've seen plenty of white comedians make ethnic/racial jokes and not get run off stage.  It's all about the forum which a person uses.  If a guy's up on stage telling jokes then most people are going to take it as such.  When you pay your $20 for tickets to see a comedian, you should already know before hand what you can basically expect in terms of the material he/she is going to use.

But when you host a radio talk show that is not considered to be a comedy forum then there's not as much wiggle room when it comes to these types of things.
