Every day in this so called war on terror, perfectly innocent people are being turned into criminals, harrassed, detained and questioned...it's farging ridiculous.  The authorities should be held accountable for failing to think before crying wolf.

The country is getting deeper and deeper into a "terrorism" witch hunt panic...the authorities love it.  Civil rights and liberties are literally being dismantled by the day and anyone who objects is labelled a terrorist sympathizer or traiter.

For all of our bluster about freedom and democracy, we're no better as a country than most third-rate dictatorships in terms of fostering our civil liberties.

Justin Timberlake skipped the after party for his new film Black Snake Moan after it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to spend a romantic evening with Jessica Biel. The newly-single singer didn't attend the festivities last Wednesday in order to spend some quality time with the Stealth star at a exclusive lodge in nearby Deer Valley, Utah. A source tells American publication Us Weekly Timberlake reportedly flew Biel in to join him for the festivities, saying, "He called her and asked her to come. And she was like, 'What the hell? I'll go!' She is really spontaneous and fun." Biel, 24, stayed with Timberlake at his $1,950 per night, four-bedroom condo at the Trail's End Lodge and the couple were spotted snowboarding the next day at the picturesque Park City Mountain Resort. The pair stayed at the lodge until January 26 and a source at the resort says, "Justin and his group were fantastic guests." Biel's representative refused to comment on her relationship with Timberlake saying, "Jessica was in Sundance for a couple of days to see some movies." so my company got me this blackberry, which i hate, because i've been traveling a lot lately.  anyway, i refuse to wear one of those holsters for it, so i just lock it and put it in my pocket.  anyway, there's some feature where when you hit a button when it's locked, there's an option to make an emergency call. 

long story short, my phone called 911 twice yesterday.  somehow it's picking the right option, and then confirming it.  twice.  they called me back and i apologized but i'm sure they're not happy with me.  two bike cops showed up within a minute, pretty impressive actually.
