I thought all kids wanted to sit in the back seats???

NO kids want to do what they're TOLD to do!

But seriously, there is a chance that this is much ado about nothing.

One of my favorite stories about teaching was this:  I had a young black male that had gotten in trouble, which was unusual in that he was a good kid.  My assistant principal called the mom on the speakerphone.  She proceeded to yell at him and say that the only reason that the principal was calling her and getting in trouble was because he was racist.

The principal proceeded to calmly inform her of the situation, never stopping to tell her that he was a black man.

How is it that this John Mark Carr guy has been in custody for over a week, and they are still waiting to see if his DNA is a match to that found on the little girl. But in Austria they already have the DNA to confirm that the young lady found is the girl thatwas kidnapped 10 years ago.

Racial Divides on Survivor

Quote
The tribe has spoken. Sociology and media experts described the newest Survivor series that pits whites, blacks, Asians and Hispanics against each other as an an experiment in poor taste.

But though appalling, the strategy isn't surprising, said media expert Megan Boley, pointing out the show mirrors today's inflammatory political climate.

"We're living through one of the most volatile periods of renewed racism," said the associate professor media at the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education.

"It reveals the many ways in which popular culture is linked to global politics."

The division by the races doesn't bother me at all.  But in the interest of safety, I hope they have plenty of lifeguards on duty when Team Black has to do the swimming competitions.   :paranoid
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

They should add a Jewish team that can buy black guys to do the physical tasks. Unstoppable formula for Survivor success.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

My (and G_F's) high school football team is the equivalent of the Arizona Cardinals, so to get some hype this year, they added a female kicker (a blue-eyed blonde junior)

If she's a junior, she's jailbait, and thus, you must post pics.

QuoteMacy Slams Lohan for Lateness
Veteran actor William H. Macy has blasted co-star Lindsay Lohan for her behavior while filming the movie Bobby, insisting she "should have her a** kicked." The star shared scenes with the 20-year-old actress in the film and admires her talent, but not her manners. He said, "You can't show up late. It's very, very disrespectful." Lohan was blasted in a letter last month from the Ceo of Morgan Creek Productions for her absences on set of her new film Georgia Rule, who called her behavior that of "a spoiled child." Lohan appears in the film alongside Macy's wife, Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman. He explains, "I think what an actor has to realize (is that) when you show up an hour late, 150 people have been scrambling to cover for you. It's nothing but disrespect. And Lindsay Lohan is not the only one. A lot of actors show up late as if they're God's gift to the film. It's inexcusable, and they should have their a**es kicked."

hahaha

William H. Macy rules.

QuoteEmmy Host O'Brien's Hair Fears
Emmy Awards host Conan O'Brien is having sleepless nights ahead of the big ceremony on Sunday, worrying his hair won't look great onstage. The talk show host is even scrutinizing weather forecasts to check freak conditions won't ruin his trademark hairdo. The well-coiffed star tells the New York Daily News, "Barometric pressure has a lot to do with how my hair behaves. So I'll be checking with the weather services shortly before the program to see just what kind of lift we can achieve. If the humidity gets a little high and we're in a low-pressure system, the hair tends to fall onto the forehead. But if we get just the right conditions, it can be 14 feet high."

Conan rules also.
