I was sitting here thinking about the folks who have kids and finally got them to sleep so Santa could come and then BAM...sitting through rounds of m80's and Roman candles because the lifted truck bro and his red hatted fam just has to light some freedom fireworks...on Christmas. Idiots.

Because my address falls into the unincorporated party of the county it's lax out here. Big ass fireworks stand across the main road from my house. Maybe it'll burn down.

It was 76 degrees out when I turned in around 9:00.  It's 41 degrees out now and still dropping.

Merry Christmas, 2020.  🖕🏻

I made some giant peanut butter cookies last night. Got all the gifts sorted out a couple days ago, so that was nice, too.

This is the first place I've lived that didn't have a Santa on a noisy ass firetruck creeping around on Christmas Eve. I can only hope they never do that here and didn't just skip this year because of the Rona.

My family got me one of those all in one media players from Victrola.  It's pretty damn cool.  Nice surprise considering I asked them not to splurge this year.

My daughter found an 18 yr-old bottle of Jameson for me.   I know that cost her a bundle although I'm not sure how a 20 yr-old actually bought it.

60 degrees, pouring rain and bad wind all night. Dreary, drizzling and grey this morning. Merry Christmas.

First Christmas my kid was actually sentient for but he still cared more about the bags and tissue paper than the actual toys. Minus his Sesame Street figures and the dogs new squeaky toys.

My wife got me a good expensive pair of binoculars for when we go out to the NPs, we realized we needed a pair when we were in Yellowstone a couple years ago and we're stuck using the camera with a giant heavy lens to try and spot animals across wide open hills. I got her a laptop because all she has is her work computer.

Same weather as SD here. The wind last night was insane. Our power flickered a few times but never went out

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Sunny and in the 40s here with a high of 60. Perfect day.

The old lady got me a big freezer for the garage and a vacuum sealer. I've wanted those for awhile so we can buy in bulk and individually package stuff.

A few egg nog and rums deep and about to switch to beer.

Strange Christmas morning in a most strange year...

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!

A vacuum sealer and a freezer?

Dude, really?  Like we don't already make fun of you enough?

😂

We got some flurries this afternoon. Totally made up for having to spend my morning gathering up all the trash that had been blown across the lawn during the night.

lol it's things we have talked about me getting. I didn't want her spending a ton of money. I could've asked for the long tube headers ($1800) and the tuner/e85 tunes ($600) and a solid drive shaft ($1100) but that's too much money to ask her to spend.

Saw this on Twitter.  Got to have my first snowball fight with my kids last year when we went to Maine for Christmas.  We had a lot of fun!
