The critical legal work I am doing.

Are you really working on this^? If so that's pretty freaking cool.

Some kids in my daughters neighborhood were digging in their yard last month and came across a bunch of stones. Here they were graves from the Colonial era. I think they found 6 or 7. I'm surprised it didn't make the news.

Yeah I've been filing everything in that case.   We've been trying to keep it under wraps but a few days ago someone figured out it was going on.

It was kind of cool seeing the petition etc in this video: http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/Who-Is-Really-Buried-In-The-Grave-Of-The-Devil-In-The-White-City-420778313.html

Happy Cinco De Mayo

QuoteCinco de Mayo (pronounced: [ˈsiŋko ðe ˈmaʝo]; Spanish for "Fifth of May") is a celebration held on May 5. The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican Army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.

In the United States, Cinco de Mayo has taken on a significance beyond that in Mexico. In the U.S. the date has become associated with the celebration of Mexican-American culture. In Mexico, the commemoration of the battle continues to be mostly ceremonial, such as through military parades.

In the United States, Cinco de Mayo is sometimes mistaken to be Mexico's Independence Day—the most important national holiday in Mexico—which is celebrated on September 16, commemorating the Cry of Dolores that initiated the war of Mexican independence from Spain

It's raining like crazy so I had to cook the carne asada for my tacos in a crock pot instead of on the grill. I think they might be even better now.

Sorry Sassy but you got GOT on that one.

The actual holiday of Cinco de Mayo is if anything less authentically Mexican than crock pot carne asada.
