I hate FedEx right now

I paid $150 to ship a box that weighs 0.95lbs to Peru. It was suppose to deliver two days ago. In the past I've always had the receiver pay the duties and taxes which prolonged the delivery time so this time I set up my own account with them and linked my credit card to pay for them. Ideally this means no delays in shipping.

Wrong.

Tracking Updated last night they needed the receivers DNI number (which is like a SSN here). I emailed them to tell them to email it over to the FedEx office.

All good? Nope.

Got a delivery exception email this am.

Had to call to remind them I'm paying the d&t's - tracking immediately shows out for delivery.

Just got an update of "need payment" delivery cannot be made. Called back in and the excuse was the driver didn't know the shipper was paying d&t's so they didn't deliver.

Jesus Christ I'm gonna go get a refund tomorrow. $150 and it's not delivered when they said it would.

I can't help but think that maybe 20% of this issue is a FedEx thing, and that 80% of it is...well...that you're shipping to farging Peru.

lol...I was thinking the same. Until this morning. When it still wasn't on the truck because those dopes still hadn't tied my account to the shipment for payment.
