The idea of shunning something from nature in favor of something manufactured, no matter how logical the pharmaceutical companies' lawyers' arguments may be, makes me extremely uncomfortable. Just my two cents.

My answer to "It's natural" is so are rattlesnakes and Black Widows.  But I wouldn't try to eat one.

The obvious flaw with that argument is that natural supplements that people take (reasonable people, anyway) are taken for a purpose and usually have been used in that context successfully in the past. Eating a black widow, while pretty bad ass, serves no purpose. I wasn't saying that ANYTHING that comes from nature is preferrable to ANYTHING that is manufactured, I was just responding to you saying this:

with my own opinion. Which is that I have a GENERAL mistrust of all things manufactured. Especially if you're supposed to be ingesting them.
