going to canada for a week. been going to same place in ontario for about 15 yrs. private land, private lake. good fishing, hiking, relaxing. looking forward to a week of no cell phones, no computers, no nothing other than the simple things. i'll post plenty of pics when i get back.

So I was out at a club last night with some friends and there was this asian dude who was using his beer bottle for a microphone and was trying to lip sync.  The only problem was that he clearly did not know a single word to any song.  It reminded me of one of the old kung fu movies.

I rode motocross for the first time ever today at Tomahawk MX park in WV.  Rode three different bikes, raning from a 70-something Montessa, to a late 80's Yamaha YZ490, and an 89 Honda 250  (all two strokes).  Ten years road experience..this was my first time on dirt.  I slid around, I wheelied a little bit (by accident, really), I jumped quite a lot more than I thought I would (with no grace at all), I wiped out and dropped the bike and stalled out a bunch, and I had a farging blast.

I gotta find a way to do that more and more.  It will make me a better rider and a happier man.  Holy farg, good times.

MX is great fun...and great exercise. I'd be okay not riding street if I could just play in the dirt once in a while.
