Man charged with riding horse drunk

COLUMBIA, Ky. — A horse was euthanized and its rider charged with being drunk on horseback after a Kentucky state trooper struck the horse with his cruiser, state police said.

Trooper James Richard was driving in a rainstorm about five miles east of Columbia in south-central Kentucky when he hit the horse and rider late Friday on an unlighted, rural highway, state police said.

The horse was critically injured and euthanized at the scene, state police said. Jonathan Bryant was charged with DUI-non-motorized vehicle after being treated and released for minor injuries. He was being held Saturday at the Adair County Jail.

Richard's car sustained severe damage, and Richard was treated for minor injuries. The wreck remains under investigation.

Following the split of Prince William and long-time girlfriend Kate Middleton British bookmakers William Hill have been quick to offer new odds on who's likely to marry the prince.
The bookmakers are offering odds of 6:1 that the prince will marry a female fellow army officer however a number of other celebrities have also made the list;
6:1 - A female fellow army officer

14:1 - Kylie Minogue
14:1 - Paris Hilton

William Hill bookmakers were preparing to pay out up to US$99,000 if Prince William had married Kate, however British newspaper The Sun reported on Saturday that the relationship was over.
"We are as shocked as everyone else, if rather more relieved than most as we were preparing to pay out over £50,000 to punters who had backed the couple to wed," said spokesman Rupert Adams.

Three things:
1) Henry marrying Paris Hilton may be the funniest thing to happen to England in a long time.
2) Only 100:1 odds on a gay marriage?  Do they know something we don't?

I put my resume up on careerbuilder.com over the weekend just to see what kind of feedback I'd get.  I have recieved a few hits on jobs that look halfway decent but my inbox is getting flooded with offers from life insurance type places that are all basically saying the same thing......fastest growing company in the business, earn 100k per year, no experience necessary, etc etc etc.  I even got one "offer" that will teach me how to be an ebay seller.  Lame.
