People are too obsessed about having children with their own DNA.

The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Tom Knox came into speak to my political science class today. Had some good ideas, made some good arguments and points. But, politics are bullshtein. And Philly is a corrupt city. I do think he has the intentions to go in there and fix things, but doubt he'll be that successful.

That said, I can't vote, but am eligable to. I would have to change my party affiliation (yes, I'm a registered republican...but I'm pretty much a democrat at this point) and apply for temporary residence voting thing, since I've been living in the city for 2 years and will live here for at least the next two years.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I don't really get why people are registered as anything in particular.

You have to be registered with a party to vote in primary elections.

I'm registered "NPA - No party affiliation".  Now I just have to figure out how to vote.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I've never believed any of the parties, but the Republicans are the worst of the current bunch, so I register with them to farg up their telephone polls and vote for the guy who will lose in the primary.
