One of my good friends is getting married this weekend. He asked me to be the best man and of course I accepted. So I'm locked in.

A couple things...

It's on Sunday. At 4pm. So right in the middle of the biggest Eagles game of the season. Who gets married on a Sunday at 4pm?! You're supposed to do it on a Saturday so you have the night to party and the next day to recover.

There will apparently be 100-150 people there and I'm curious as to how many will hang around into the night. He's talking about a big reception but I just can't see people sticking around much less drinking.

Two weeks before Christmas on a Sunday and a no kids restriction.

I'm gonna miss many of the conference champ games and the eagles game. I can't take Monday off so I will have to bail at a decent time Sunday night to make the almost three hour drive home. Plus the tux rental was $200 and I'll be springing for a hotel.

Bah humbug.

My friend got married during the game when the Eagles laid down to the Carolina Panthers in the NFCCG. He did me a favor.

That family is super tight with my sister and brother in law. They've traveled together a bunch and I've hung out with them. shtein is farged up.
