I'm in no way a hater of law enforcement. But I will say with the amount of stories that come out about the abuse of power and making up probable cause it scares me that it could happen to me. Get a power hungry jerk who wants to make trouble and you're in a huge mess.

Not to put too fine a point on it bro, but black folk, latinos, hippies, anyone who looks the part has learned this shtein long ago.  Now common white dudes are up for the lesson.  Cops don't have an easy job, but where I'm from, you know they aren't your friends most of the time.  Sure, on occasion they are good to have around, but most of those occasions can be easily avoided.
