don't get me wrong..I think the guy went a little overboard.  but come on...you run a serious risk of crossing the kind of guy who goes overboard when you strike someone, and those risks are all on you...

He definitely went bazoo.  The problem is the bitch started it by assaulting him.  We get people in the public office and on the phone all the time who are abusive verbally to us, but luckily we've never had someone physically assault our staff.   

I can see it happening, though.  We get threats here and there and even had someone Baker-acted (72 hour involuntary psychiatric hold) for making terroristic threats.
