Surely made in China as well, and no doubt more expensive than the tailor fit one I'll buy here. It'll make a kick ass souvenir

I bought a pool table a few months ago, we stored it for a while and eventually moved it into our basement.  Finally got around to calling a company to refelt, level, and put new bumpers on.  All in all its coming out to 775.00, is that a good deal or am i being taken?

It's supposedly a very nice, we got it from some folks who were moving.  I just didnt like that they basically had me stuck with paying 100 bucks for a deposit, 500 to refelt/reassemble the correct way and to level it.  Then added 275 for the bumper replacement.

Yes, that's a very reasonable price assuming that they do quality work.  I paid almost $3000 to have my pool table moved to my mom's house about 10 years ago and had them replace the felt and rails in the process.  Granted, the moving fee was the biggest expense....this is an 80 year old table with 3 pieces of slate and an under the table rail system for the balls to go from pocket to bin, so the disassemble/reassemble portion was an added expense that you typically don't get with modern tables.  Not to mention, you already have the table in your house so there is no moving cost for you.

Post some pics when it's done.

One more thing....if the people coming out to work on the table are good with lighting, you may want to have them hang the light over your table for you to make sure the light is centered and hung at the proper height....you want 36"-42" from the table surface to the bottom of the lamp.

Yeah, i moved it with my bro and my cousin, farging heavy as hell 8 foot 3piece slate.  The company that is doing it is pretty reputable, i just didnt like the conversation.  Young kid maybe 24, trying to push me into a sale.  He wanted half down, i told him the owner has my credit card, he's welcome to charge that.  He said well sometimes he loses that, and i kindly reminded him that they A. Found my house and B. Kept their appointment.  Think he was trying to get a few bucks cash off me.  I guess i'm just a cynic and always think someone is trying to take me for something.

I'll def get some pics once its finished.  We have lamps already hung, but they were from the previous owner, and not exactly the setup i want.  I saw them for sale at Homedepot for 30 bucks a piece LOL.  It's been a slow process getting this shtein together.
