Disgusting, sure.  But it's not news.  Why do we need to hear the details of what a deranged individiual, who is now dead, did to children?  Nothing we can do about it, nothing we can do to protect ourselves or our children.  Etc.

It's pulp news, made to sell ads.  Works every time.

There are a lot of things going on that do affect us, that we could change, which are ignored because you don't get to write molested muderer molested tied up exectuion...bla blah bla.
