Shaved like with a razor and cream? Or like shaved buzz style?

So we went to Sea World today. We actually went to San Antonio yesterday but got rained out and spent an extra day there.

It reinforced my belief that many parents should be incinerated.

Teach your kids some manners, iceholes.

Fighting the good fight, part II.

I have less of a problem with typos than I do with willfully ignoring the rules of the language. Typos are mistakes. Text-speak is intentional and awful.

Still. Pay attention to what you're doing, iceholes.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I make a shtein-ton of typos. If I'm writing something important (read: anything not written here) I'll spell check it. Yesterday I misspelled a word so many times that the spell checker shamed me into learning how to properly spell it.

While using spell check is necessary, people also need to re-read the junk they send out; to is not too, aide is not aid, blue is not blew, through is not threw etc.

Ever try to write a scientific document with a spell checker?!  I'd rather proof it myself.

Diomedes

The problem with self proofing is that it's reliable only to a point.  If you're gonna submit some shtein that needs to be tight, you gotta hand it over to foreign eyes.  I don't know how many times I've had people point out the most obvious mistakes upon a quick scan that I missed three times through.

Definitely.  I can recall many times I had my wife take a quick look at my work, and she pointed out what should have been a fairly obvious error that I missed even after checking the piece over two or three times.
