Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

It has like 40mph + winds, or at least the one i saw in AZ did, the duststorm part lasted about a half hour, followed by heavy heavy rains.  I was down on Mill Ave on the ASU campus drinking my face off when we saw lights disappearing in the night sky.  Next thing you know, your beer is being covered in dust, and everyone is running indoors.

From what i've heard from guys who've been to the middle east, the ones here are like babies compared to the monster storms they have in the sandbox

A reverse peephole is basically when you look through the peephole, I can see myself naked instead of watching my brother undress.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. - One homeowner is probably not in love with the Oscar Mayer wiener. The famed hot dog's Wienermobile crashed Friday into the deck and garage of a home in southern Wisconsin.

Police said the driver was trying to turn the Wienermobile around in the driveway and thought she was moving in reverse. But she instead went forward and hit the home in Mount Pleasant, about 35 miles south of Milwaukee.

The vehicle sat in the driveway as if it were stuck in the garage Friday afternoon.

The driver convinced the garage door she was only going to put the tip in

Yeah, so... most, if not all of you know I work in TV.

Anyway, last week I flew up and interviewed for a job at ESPN.  I was impressed with them, and I believe they were impressed with me... and I'm pretty sure there's an offer coming this week.  If the offer's good enough to warrant uprooting the fam... I intend to break the color barrier and move to Connecticut.  As far as what I do (Newscast Directing)... this is pretty much the "big leagues" and there's sooooo many more opportunities for growth than there are at my current shteinhole station.  Awesome career opportunity.  I know a few people who work there and they co-sign everything that I've been hearing.  Love what they do.

Not to mention the timing couldn't be much better as my station have implemented furloughs (1st and 2nd Qtr) and pay cuts (3rd Qtr), laying off people all around me... and while my position appears safe for now... gotta be proactive about these things.  ESPN is doing relatively well, as they are still not only adding to their facilities, but adding jobs.

Anyway... this shtein was just on my mind while wishing I wasn't here at work.  You all care, farg you.
