This is it for the off-season. The only other possibility is MAYBE signing Moulds after he gets cut. If not, this is it for the WR's this year.

I like the signing. Yes, he DOES have upside. He's young and has talent, lets see what he does with McNabb at QB.

Everyone keeps asking for a #1 WR. Sorry folks, Reggie Brown is your #1 WR. The Eagles have said more then once now that they feel confident that Brown can step up and be a #1.

So, unless Moulds gets cut, don't expect another WR before the draft. Or after the draft. Minus the VERY small possibility we get Moulds, the only other way another WR is coming here is through the draft. Get used to it.

This team has won before with WR's much less talented then Reggie Brown, Jabar Gaffney, and Todd Pinkston. Pinkston and Jabar are going to rotate at the #2 spot, which I like considering that Pinkston might not be healthy enough to start, and the fact that Gaffney might turn out to be a much better playeer then he has shown playing for a zesty team.

We may not be done. A one year deal isn't convicing me of that yet. I don't know if the Eagles want Moulds or Walker, but if not I think we'll spend a 2nd or 3rd rounder on a receiver. God forbid Reggie Brown gets hurt, we have no one to throw to. Yes, we've won with less talent at receivers, but the NFC then was also a lot worse than it is now, and so was the division. Yes, the NFC is better now...so are our WR's.

I also think that they might draft a guy in the middle rounds of the draft. But other then the slight possibility of Moulds coming here, IF he gets cut, I think everyone's gonna have to relax and accept the WR's we've got now. They're not changing.

I like the deal, simply because Gaffney is an immediate improvement over Lewis and McMullen, insurance for Pinkston coming off injury, and will be happy to be reunited with his good friend and cousin Lito.  Also, it doesn't preclude the Eagles from adding another receiver of starter quality or a draft pick.

Anyway, here's my basic tenet:  Every player not on the Eagles sucks.  Every player the Eagles sign or draft rules until proven otherwise.  Gaffney is no exception, despite his affinity for munching on anus.
