Tapeh

Brown
Gaffney
Pinkston
McCants
(rookie) or Lewis

Smith
Schobel

Not too shabby, IMO. Not great, but certainly better than the pre-TO days, IMO. They can win with this.

QuoteI personally would love to see the Eagles make a deal for Walker and our WR corp would look VERY solid.

I'd go a step further and say they'd have a shot at being the best 1-2-3-4-5 WR group in the league if Walker is healthy. And they'd be a really young group to boot. But relying on Brown to be a number one this year is wishful thinking and without a true number one its hard for a group of WRs to really flourish.

Rjs, truly impressed you went above and beyond the infamous "one line" commentary. I also agree with you on the Walker point in a big way....need a legit #1 for the trickle down effect. Could care less about the #4 and #5 though...they catch a ball 1 out of 50 attempts (figuratively speaking). Need a dependable 3-pack of recievers, not superstars but ones that can catch McNabbs' worm burners on the ground.

Gaffney is Pinkstons back-up vertical threat at best. Same type of reciever. He was the long ball boy in Houston--when Carr was able to throw.

phreak....alone on paper thats an 8-8 offense at best with the offensive line they have

coupled with a dominant d it would be enough to win...but the eagles dont have that

You used the word "special" twice in an obviously derogatory way with respect to Chad Johnson.

What did I misunderstand about that, Wingspan?

that i didnt mean he i think he stinks....but his ego is too big for his helmet, and that takes away from him.

Well, we obviously disagree. No point in really going too deep into debate because neither of us is right about it or wrong about it yet.

They can put up points. So we'll have to see what goes down and if they stay healthy. But I like it. Could it be better? Damn right. But it isn't totally zesty.

We sure know how to make the most of these mediocre signings on :CF.  To all of you... well done.

Shy, retiring types don't usually make it in professional sports.

I personally prefer guys like Marvin Harrison but raging egomaniacs like Chad Johnson seem to excel at the WR position in the NFL for whatever reason.
