Yes, he wasn't on but Sirius confimred it through his agent. They were the ones to break the signing, because they usually cite their sources (Ex. ESPN is reporting.... etc.)

WIP Reports Bentley was scheduled to fly in last night but the flight was cancelled due to the Eagles not having a DR ready to look at him.

if true...this is totally indefensible. a complete black eye on the eagles. even the homertastic of eagle homers cannot make an excuse to excuse this one. a total farging embarassment to the eagles.

the gold standard cant even have a doctor on staff? hell your building is named after a hospital chain for fargs sakes.

I was listening to WIP online for a few minutes and all I heard was Rhea said that her contact at the airport told her Bentley's flight was cancelled, not that he cancelled his flight.  Then I heard someone say that Bentley wanted to have his physical done by his own doctor on Monday.  Who knows what's going on.

So, the best free agent in the market wants to come to your team and seems OK with signing a big contract the first day despite several suitors, but you "play it cool" by waiting it out and not even being prepared for him to visit, so he goes to another team and signs basically the same contract on that first day?

I can't defend this at all.  Steve Hutchinson, who they probably won't get anyway, can suck my huge furry nutsack.  This team should have had LeCharles Bentley in the middle of the line for years to come, but instead we'll get to see the pocket collapsed from the inside out and no interior running game again.

Screw this.
