Didn't he play college ball at 240? If he's over 270 now that's kind of farged up.

He was in the 255-260 range in Cincy.

I thought this was interesting: All about Trent Cole

Very cool.

QuoteCole's best game so far was ... in the 30-24 three overtime win over Temple last year. Cole ended up earning Conference USA Player of the Week honors for making 14 tackles and three tackles for loss.

Jeezus.  How bad does a team have to be to need 3 OT's to beat Temple?

QuoteAgain, if you look at the structure of the offense ... the offensive ilne is the key to an offense, right? That and a QB ... The Eagles really, really like Tapeh and we'll find out if he's healthy. They generally don't play a fullback all that much, right? This is the structure of the offense. Your points are all valid, yes. A good FB can do all of those things. But the Eagles use more 3 WR sets and 2 TE sets and the FB doesn't really play that much.

then
QuoteI'm telling you, Tapeh is a big back who can run and be physical. He's on track for being healthy. He's happy with his recovery. We'll see on him ...

jeezus.

Nothing new there.  He's been on the Tapeh bandwagon the last 3 weeks.

shocking that theyd be counting on a guy to come back from a serious injury and contribute

almost explains why we dont get a lot of 3rd down conversions. Maybe instead of Reid's love fest with running a pitch-out on 3rd and 2 or a passing slant on 3rd and 2, you could use a quality fullback to either block for Westbrook in between the tackles or just use the fullback himself...but why would we want to do that?
