I'm not arguing the there are better options, I'm just saying that we shouldn't be annointing the current starters as anything other than question marks at this point.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

They can both play in the league. But calling them "very good" players is a stretch.

In my book it goes like this:

Star
Very good
Good
Not good
Bad
Reno Mahe

So unless your definition of 'very good' differs vastly from mine, niether of those dudes is 'very good.'

Cmon Rjs...proper English please...thank you.

Fair enough. But that is who we've got and I believe that both Herremans and Jackson are very good.

This all hinges on Runyan comingback though. Because if he walks...trouble on the homefront.

ice grillin you

its not about whos out there right now...its about where their line is right now...

they could have signed bently or hutchinson this year if they really wanted...or a lineman or two last year...they chose not to and have gone thru the draft to rebuild the line...maybe they did the right thing i dont know for sure...well see what happens this year...

but as rjs said to annoint them all as very good nfl'ers right now as opposed to question marks is incorrect imo

If they allow Runyan to walk now, the off-season is a failure.

if herremans is very good then who cares if runyan walks...because runyan is not any better than very good...and herremans cant play guard

Heckert says he can play it, and I'm inclined to believe him. We don't know either way. But Castillo is a good coach and if they plug him in at LG I think he plays well.

ice grillin you

maybe heckert says he can play guard so that he doesnt have to explain why they havent gone out and upgraded the position with a hutchinson

i know we talked about this but herremans to me is a prototypical tackle always has been always will be...can he play guard sure...can he play it well...i dont think hes suited for it

Jesus - it's MARCH!!  The off-season's a failure, the season's is a failure.  Runyan's still playing manatee in the Caymans.  Let's wait until, I don't know, training camp to declare the season's over, OK?
Anyone but Reid.
