The scouting reports don't prove shtein. I'm just asking you, not them, to hold your judgement on the guy until you've seen him play HERE. You will see him 16+ games which is enough to make the call. If he comes here and plays terrible, then you feel free to trash him, but at least wait until you see him first hand to do it.

If he steps it up he'll get his deal and we'll have a Brown & Gaffney duo. But if he bombs out we move on and there is no long term deal to worry about.

hes not gonna step it up...he doesnt have the physical tools to be able to elevate his game to some unheard of level that hes been unable to find thus far in his four year career...hes not that fast doesnt have great size and isnt overly strong

he is not a long term solution at the #2 wr spot

hes freddie mitchell without the side show...which isnt a bad thing by any means...but wr's like them are a dime a dozen...that said i think they could do a lot worse than having gaffney as their #3 guy down the road...provided they have a legit #1 or (2) twos

I see the bottom line as: Gaffney better be decent and better be re-signed if he is... because there were other options out there and the Eagles had tons of cash.

I didn't go into detail about every facet of his game, pretending like I studied this guy for 10 hours on game film. I can only go by what I've seen in the few Texans games I've watched - that I actually happened to keep my eye on Gaffney which is rare if at all, and from what I read. But that doesn't even matter. I'm going to wait until the season to say whether this was a bad signing or not.

If Givens catches 80 balls for 1,100 yards and Gaffney catches 30 for 400, then I'll say you were right. We haven't gotten there yet. Give the guy a chance.

hes been in the league going on five years and has essentially done the same thing every year...35-50 catches and a couple toucdowns a year...and dont give me well that was on texans...as if the eagles offense has a history of turning out great wr's...andre johnson is better than any wr andy reids offense has ever spit out

Im waiting for the bomb to drop that Arrington is either coming for a visit or Walker/Moulds can seek a trade by their clubs....haha. Although I could be waiting for a LONG time......lets hope this quiet period for the Eagles is all part of their master plan. If not, Lurie will be using left-over FA dollar bills as toilet paper to wipe his a$$!!

He'll be surrounded by better players here, and better coaches. Plus he's still young so he can still grow. He's not a 33 year old where you say, the guy is what he is. He's in his mid 20's. He can still improve.
